Abstract

Swamps are part of relatively flat land along the coast, streams or lakes and there is vegetation in the form of water plants, leading to the land up to ± 100 km which is generally affected by tides from the surrounding rivers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, namely a method of analysis that seeks to explain the conditions of the object of study according to certain criteria so that it can provide a real picture of what is happening in the research place. Public Perception of Swamp Function in the Musi Rawas Area. People living in O. mangunharjo Village use swamps to help farmers in the use of conversion of agricultural land. However, to find out people's perceptions of the function of swamps, there are ten questions to analyze the community's perceptions of the function of swamps in the Musi Rawas area. From the research activities, it is known that from the community's perception of the function of swampland in O. Mangunharjo village, Musi Rawas Regency, there are many activities or activities that occur around swamps carried out by farmers such as; looking for grass for livestock, then hoeing or plowing the fields and farmers who plant vegetables considering that swamps are very important to the balance of the environment, especially in the economy of the people around O. Mangunharjo village in Musi Rawas Regency, there are 2 respondents who do not know the impact of the damage the swamp ecosystem affects the surrounding environment and 3 respondents know its impact. Based on PKL activities, it can be concluded that the community knows the function of swamps in the surrounding settlements, namely that the presence of swamps can balance the ecological functions of the environment.

Abstract

The Covid19 pandemic has brought significant changes to the education. The implementation of the school management function has changed in the methods and focus of activities. The implementation of the principal's leadership function includes Plan, Do, Check, Action activities in various aspects of school management. The role of school principals was very dominant in assessing the academic and health processes of schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. An alternative way that must be done to ensure quality is education supervision. Supervision is carried out by the principal, aims to record and evaluate teacher performance. The supervision that will be used in SDN Bener 01 is constructive supervision. This supervision technique provides input and direction to the teacher. This research was conducted in January-March 2021. The research site was SDN Bener 01, Saradan District, Madiun Regency with the target of 8 teachers. The result of academic supervision is that in general there has been an increase in teachers' academics in learning during the Covid19 pandemic. The percentage of teachers with the minimum criteria is good as much as 100%. Several aspects, the teacher got very good results. The results showed that the facilities and infrastructure as well as the implementation of health protocols at SDN Bener 01 were categorized as Very Good.

Abstract

Tanaman pucuk merah (Syzygium oleana) merupakan salah satu tanaman hias yang sudah dikembangkan oleh petani di desa Nglurah Tawangmangu. Pucuk merah merupakan suatu tanaman perdu yang berdaun selalu hijau, kaya akan fenol, flavonoid antioksidan, dan asam betulinic. Serangga hama menjadi salah satu penghambat dalam upaya meningkatkan produksi tanaman hias pucuk merah. Ada beberapa petani yang belum memahami jenis-jenis hama yang ada di pertanaman pucuk merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis hama yang menyerang tanaman pucuk merah di desa Nglurah Tawangmangu dan untuk mengamati gejala serangan hama dan penyakit pada tanaman pucuk merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara yang dilaksanakan di desa Nglurah Tawangmangu pada tanggal 2-8 Desember 2020. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya alat tulis, tabel, dan alat dokumentasi (kamera ponsel). Variabel yang akan diamati adalah hama dan penyakit yang terdapat pada pucuk merah. Data yang di diperoleh dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 2 spesies penyakit yaitu Jamur penyebab bercak daun Pestalotia sp,dan Cercospora sp dan 4 spesies hama yang menyerang pucuk merah yaitu : Doleschallia polibete, Macrothylaricia rubi (ulat bulu) Monomorium minimum (semut hitam kecil) dan Tetranycus (tungau merah). Kata kunci : pucuk merah, hama, penyakit

Abstract

Palm vinegar is one of the processed products from a type of plant from the Arecaceae family, namely Arenga pinnata. Arenga vinegar is used by the people of the Kuta traditional village as a traditional medicine to treat a disease or prevent disease, this is based on folk knowledge, experience and ancestral traditions passed down from generation to generation in using plants as medicine. However, their utilization practices have not been published, identified and documented. Therefore, this study aims to describe the stages of making arenga vinegar and the practice of using it as a traditional medicine in Kuta Traditional Village. This research was conducted in Kuta Traditional Village, Tambak Sari District, Karangpaninggal Village, Ciamis Regency, in January-February 2021. This research is qualitative research study using the phenomenological method, the data collection technique used in this study are passive participation and active participation observation, semi-structured interviews with 4 people, namely 3 men and 1 woman, and document studies were carried out. The results showed that the arenga vinegar making stages in Kuta Traditional Village includes the process of lodong sterilizer, tapping arenga juice, filtering arenga juice, storing and fermenting arenga juice. As for its use, arenga vinegar is believed to be a traditional medicine such as types of fever, aches, liver, diabetes, stomach acid and external wounds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors of changes in the rice field ecosystem. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and supported by literature study from relevant reference sources. Based on the results of observations, interviews and literature studies that have been conducted, three factors have been found to change the rice field ecosystem. Starting from the most influential factors, namely the use of fertilizers and chemicals, genetic engineering, and land narrowing. With this, the authors hope to provide information to the community about changes in the ecosystem caused by their own exploitation of agricultural land.

Abstract

Orchid is the general name for all types of plants in the family Orchidaceae (family of orchids). This family is one of the largest groups among other flowering plants. It is estimated that worldwide there are around 15,000-20,000 species of orchids with 900 genera (clans) that grow endemic to forests scattered in various countries. Of all orchid species in the world, 5,000 of them are in Indonesia. Broadly speaking, the classification of orchids is divided into 5 subfamilies, 16 tribes (tribes), and 28 subtribes. Phalaenopsis is a genus of orchids which is popular for its diversity and beauty of flowers. The government through presidential decree (Kepres) No. 4 of 1993, on January 9, 1993, designated the moon orchid as a charm flower named Latin Phaleonopsis amabilis, this orchid grows attached to a tree trunk or branch and is one type of orchid endemic to Indonesia. The development of orchid cultivation has never been separated from disease and pest problems. With few disease infections and pest attacks, the beauty will change, of course, the selling price will fall. Orchid plants require extra care to grow with beautiful flowers. Orchid disease can be caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses. Diseases and pests that attack orchid plants can cause death if allowed to continue. Besides that, mishandling can also cause the death of orchids. The purpose of this study was to determine the pests and diseases of the Phalaenopsis amabilis plant.This research was conducted on December 2, 2020 and January 13-14, 2021 in Carikan Sukoharjo with 10 samples of Phalaenopsis amabilis plants. The tools needed in this research include writing tools, tables, loops and documentation tools (cellphone cameras). The variables to be observed were diseases and pests that attacked. The methods used were direct observation and interviews, the data obtained were analyzed by qualitative descriptive.Research conducted on 10 samples of Phalaenopsis amablis, found 6 pests and 2 diseases. Pests on the Phalaenopsis amabilis Moon Orchid plant are found that very often attack such as ants, snails, grasshoppers, mealybugs, mites and caterpillars. Whereas in the disease of the Moon Orchid plant (Phalaenopsis amabilis) in the search for Sukoharjo, the fungus Fussarium oxyporum and Rhizoctonia solani attack the leaves, stems, roots of Phalaenopsis amabilis. This disease enters the plant tissue through stomata or wounds in plants. In general, the characteristics of a fungal attack include small spots on the leaves, blisters like being scalded, watery, either cloudy or clear.

Abstract

Bunga mawar merupakan tanaman hias yang dikenal masyarakat luas.Bentuk bunganya yang sangat indah  membuat bunga mawar banyak yang membudidayakannya. Namundisisi lain ternyata tanaman bunga mawar mudah sekali sering diserang oleh berbagai macam penyakit, penyakit tersebut dapatdiketahui dari gejala-gejala yang ditimbulkannya. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyakit yang terdapat ditanaman bunga mawar. Sehingga dengan adanya penelitian ini bisa mempermudah masyarakat dalam mengenali dan mengatasi gejala penyakit yang muncul pada tanaman bunga mawar.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Observasi Pengamatan dan Wawancara, dimana meneliti gejala-gejala penyakit yang timbul pada tumbuhan bunga mawar dengan meneliti setiap bagian pada tanaman bunga mawar. Sempel yang digunakan terdapat 10 jenis bunga mawar.Penelitian ini menghasilkan berbagai temuan diantaranya pada daun terdapat hama tepung, tungau dan ulat daun. Sedangkan pada batang tanaman bunga mawar terdapat jamur upas yang membuat batang jika terlalu lama terjangkit hama ini akan membusuk dan mati. Pada bunga mawar terdapat hama Thirps dan pembusukan pada bunga.
